Calton Nutrition’s liquid Vitamin D3 for adults and children makes supplementation simple. Our liquid vitamin D3 can be taken alone, or with your nutreince AM multivitamin (do not take with your nutreince PM multivitamin as vitamin D competes with vitamin K, which is in the PM dose). Additionally, while most vitamin D3 products come in a base of medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil, vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that requires long chain triglycerides (LCT) for proper absorption, that is why our Calton Nutrition vitamin D3 is delivered in a base of both MCTs and organic LCTs to ensure proper absorption of your vitamin D3.
The FDA’s new Reference Daily Intakes (RDI) for vitamin D for adults and children over the age of 4, is 800 International Units (IU) (20 mcg), which is based on the minimum amount needed to protect against bone disease.
